Policies/Terms and Conditions:
“Allergens”
Attention customers with food allergies: Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat.
*** Last-minute orders will be charged a rush fee of $150. (Last minute orders = within two [2] weeks of an event.)*** 
“First Pay, First Serve”
A 50% deposit (of your order total) must be placed if you would like your date reserved. Your balance must be paid in full by the date specified on your custom invoice before your order is created and delivered. You may pay your total order in full at any time before the specified date on the invoice.
“Cake orders”
As much as we would like to make cakes for everyone, we are limited by time and workspace. For us to give quality to each of our clients, we must place time limits on our orders. A minimum of two weeks is needed to create most custom orders.
“Deposits”
Deposits reserve your event/delivery date and are non-refundable. Your deposit is 50% of your total order.
“Cancelations”
We value your business and understand that life happens. Please call us 617-701-7872 and we will do our best to assist you. However, your deposit and any amount paid towards your order will not be refunded. Regardless of cancelation date, the deposit remains non-refundable. Please take time to read your invoice in its entirety before payment. We are willing to adjust before a deposit is made.
Date change/postponed? With three weeks or more notice, the total amount (IF paid-in-full) will be credited towards the updated order. Pricing may increase if changes to the original design are desired. Refunds are not provided. 
In the event I am unable to complete your order (due to health issues and/or family emergency, or damage to kitchen), I will transfer your order to a cake artist of similar skill and artistry. If a cake artist of my choosing is unavailable, a complete refund will be issued to you.
“Returns”
All sales are final. Your order is custom, made fresh and is perishable. Returns are not and will not be accepted or exchanged. Refunds are not provided. 
“Pricing”
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
“Outdoor locations”
Humidity and heat can adversely affect your cake. In the warmer months, it is recommended the cake be kept in air conditioning or, at the very least, a cool area. (Please note that refrigeration is not recommended for fondant covered cakes.) It is strongly recommended that cake being picked up be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle and if you transport it, you are responsible for any damage once it leaves our possession. You acknowledge that we are in no way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions or outdoor locations including heat, humidity or insects. Cakes should never be displayed in direct sunlight or anywhere sunlight might eventually move. Please prepare a back-up plan in case of inclement weather. Determine someplace safe where the cake can be displayed indoors on exceedindly hot days or in case of rain.
“Cake Serving”
Our cake serving size is 1′ X 2′ X 4-6′ tall. You may not have enough if you choose to cut larger slices. We recommend cutting cake in a grid formation (which will yield rectangular slices) instead of “pie slices”.
“Delivery & Set Up”
Set-up is an additional service which comes with an additional fee. Set-up is paid for by the client before the event. It is your responsibility to provide a stable and level surface at least four feet off the ground where the cake is to be set up. Cakes and dessert items are safest when the are displaced against a wall. Once the cake and dessert items have been delivered and set up, the care and condition of the cake and dessert items becomes your responsibility. Mini Indulgence LLC. is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter, including someone bumping the table, a stand or table breaking or collapsing, child damage, or any other possible causes.
Client/Payee is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring someone is available to receive the order on the agreed upon time and location. If client/payee or designated person is not present at delivery, order will be left at location specified on invoice. Mini Indulgence LLC or its contractors are not responsible for any damages that may occur after delivery.
